Introduction Dear Visitors, This booklet is intended to accompany your tour of the Museum, serve as a souvenir and also to provide additional information that is not covered by the audio guide. The information that is covered by the audio guide is printed in bold. We hope that you will find a little time after the tour to pause, reflect and read the additi- onal information. We have tried not just to exhibit old farmhouse machinery here at the museum but also hope to provide background information and knowledge. The curators and supporters of the museum have incorporated information and anecdotes from the internet and from old books, such as the book “Bauernleben” (Farm Life) written by Gertrud-Heß-Haberlandt.
