The house and the exhibits date back to a time when the
majority of the population were peasants or craftsmen.
Big families with several generations in one house was the
„standard“ – they had to live from the yields of their
own farm.
The stockpiling of the meagre yields depended on the
innovative processing of food.
The questions of working 4-days-a-week only or about
“the next holiday destinations” did not arise.
Work and leisure was only possible in respectful
cooperation with nature – today we would say with:
„ sustainability“
Perhaps it will succeed when looking at the exhibits
to provide food for thought and rethinking.
